About This Plugin

Shows recent earthquake data from USGS. Earthquakes within the past 24 hours have a black background. The maps are from Carto and rendered by Leaflet. If you discover any issues please open an issue on GitHub or email me (Address on my website below).

Skip plugin if no new earthquakes?

Skip if no new earthquakes in past 48 hours Skip if no new earthquakes in past 24 hours Skip if no new earthquakes in past 7 days Never skip

Show additional earthquakes

Shows additional, recent earthquakes within your specific radius as square boxes. Does not affect the zoom of the map so they may not be visible. I'm not exactly sure what results get returned. This feature needs refinement but may still be of interest.

Additional Map Padding

By default the map zooms in as much as it can on the most recent earthquakes. This is not particularly smart and might not look good but can be used to force the map to zoom out. Set to a positive number.
